I don’t feel like there are any words to describe how this past year have made me feel. My life forever changed and in the best way possible. My blog has turned one today and I’m so excited. A big thank you to everyone around who supported me during this first year. I started my blog on 11th May 2017 and published my first confession ‘Maa’ on 16th of May 2017 to share my thoughts. I hardly believe that exactly 1 year ago I took my baby steps in the world of blogging. That day I discovered peace in my writing.
In this 1st year, I have gone through a roller coaster of emotions. I feel like I am a completely different person than I was a year ago. We both (me and my blog) have grown so much. The best part of writing a blog is that I continuously learn more about myself. I encountered moments of criticism and appreciation, joy and isolation, defeat and victory. But what stands out the most is the precious gift of writing I gave to myself. This blog gave me so mind-changing experiences. I learned that the more you work for yourself, the more you become independent, experienced and better.
“I choose my role to be an encourager in the world of discouragers. My posts poke its readers to see the glass half full because God gave you this body, take care of it, protect it and most of all love it.
Because its time to enjoy simple moments with your people.
Because God is always watching you and protecting you. It’s easy to thrive than to strive. It’s easy to want more, it’s easy to compare your life with others. So just don’t forget what you already have and find contentment where you are at.”
I have always aimed to have a diversity of voices here on the blog, So this anniversary, ‘Confessions of a Selenophile’ heartily welcome it’s each and every reader to share your thoughts.
