“The unreal eye”, sounds odd? Yes, it is odd actually. The unreal eyes are the one who is watching you and judging you by just seeing you. So what it is in reality? I’m going to do something a little different today. This time I’m not going to talk about relationships, I’m not going to talk about love, I’m not going to talk about moving on any of the things that I normally like to discuss on this blog. Today, I want to write about the most important thing I’ve learned this year, and something I think might really help some people as we move forward into 2018.
Let’s talk about perception this time & why it’s such an important thing for us to understand what it is?
Something that I realized in past one year, is that I am never going to live if I allow my life to lie in the hands and minds of those who never truly understood me the way I am.
For this, we all need to know ourselves. Trust me, this is complex & time taking and it also needs great courage to hear your inner voice, where your own thoughts, beliefs, and opinions come from. Cluttering my mind from all the mouths who talk about me that weren’t actually my own, has allowed me to understand myself and my own capabilities in a more positive way than I ever thought possible.
This isn’t a political, fashion or a travel blog, never has been and never will be. It’s rather the opposite, as I try to write about things that affect people on a purely human level, despite how much of our lives are governed by the nature of our modern societies and culture. The perception is one of those universal truths that affect each and every one of us every moment of every day, and fluidly shape the ways in which we see the people and the world around us.
When you worry about the thoughts of others, you aren’t only trying to shape one perception of who you are, you’re actually fulfilling the perception of every person that comes across your path. This is next to impossible. Every person will experience you completely differently, based on their view of the world, their experience and understanding of it, and the level of awareness through which they perceive themselves. When we try to impress others, including those we love, we get trapped in this never ending wheel of false reality & expectations. And the deeper we get into the pain of unable to please everyone, the more we get buried into like a quagmire.
It’s high time to place more value on the perception of who we are than on who we should be!
Stay tune and stay true to yourself.
